judicious. wise. good judgment. common sense. in sweden we call it klok.
Take your broken heart and turn it into art. The global issues are breaking our heart and to be judicious to us means to have common sense, to be truly honest with the thought that our way of living many times are far from OK and are affecting future generations all over world. To realize that change has to be made and to brave enough to accept the challenge. In our part of the world we have some key issues to deal with.
We think that all you have to do to be a change maker, to be a true hero and to actually help save the world, is to be j u d i c i o u s. The rest will come naturally.
Statement: Green Minds Think Alike
Sustainable development is one of the greatest challenges of our time. It requires that we rethink, think new and constantly learn. It is not enough to look solely at plants, animals or plastic in the oceans, we must also think about how we humans behave and in what kind of societies we live in. The definition of sustainable development is wide and there are many similar but different versions of the same thing. One and maybe the most famous definitions is:
"Sustainable development is a development that satisfies today's needs without jeopardizing the opportunities of future generations to satisfy their needs". - The Bruntland report 1987
Some say that sustainable development is to find a balance of ecologic, economic an social development, while other says that sustainable development can only be achieved when ecologic development is the foundation for a social development – and only then we can also reach a sustainable economic development.
If we would ask people all around the world, I hope, and don’t think that anyone would like to live a life that’s diminishing other peoples rights, damages the environment or affects species in a negatively way. We have just fallen into a bad circle of behavior combined with lack of consciousness. If we dare to admit that we have all made some mistakes and we have a lot to learn – we have come a long way. The most important thing is that we are willing to learn and be open for change, even if it means that we have to change some of our actions.
Even the smallest change makes you a global hero, one straw less, one question about who make my clothes or find out more about sustainable development.
We all want the same – A green, fair and sustainable world –
Be judicious. The rest will come naturally because we’re all green minds that think alike.
